Ned has about as much chance of being Governor as he did when he ran for the Senate.

The only ones who will support him are the liberal lackeys and the anti war boneheads.

Can anyone explain why these multi millionaires (ie McMann, Corzine, Bloomberg, Lamont)want to run for office and assume an incredibly stressful job that pays less than they earn in interest every year?? Doesn't make sense to me. The governments, local, state and federal are so screwed up that they can't be fixed by one person, and no matter what, most of the career politicians who made the mess (Dems & Repubs)will be re-elected. If it's ego, they could probably find something more gratifying. They're not going to look like a hero no matter how well they do. Perfect example is Corzine, I disagree with his politics, but in his defense, he had to deal with a corrupt and disfunctional NJ state legislature, that was re-elected year after year after year. He was in a no win situation.

The one or two decent, honest elected officials we have might as well be shoveling manure against the tide

We need Rell as governor to keep the tax & spend democrats in check. We are the 3rd highest taxed state in the USA.

Lamont should run against Dodd if the dems want to keep that senate seat.

'I have never met as successful business person with his left wing philosophy. It is like saying Satin is a practicing religious beliefs.'

I see. So no business, in the history of time, has even been run by a 'liberal?' Interesting.

'Their philosophy is to destroy Capitalism and the freedom it offers while making us slaves under control of the government.'

The goal of the Democratic Party is the same as that of the Republican Party; stats quo. This means keeping capitalism as the main economic system, it allows for the continued oppression of millions, the destruction of our environment and the demeaning of humanity. Those on the 'far left' (something somehow Obama is coupled with?) want to rid themselves of Capitalism and Government, I am included.

'Most likely JFK and Truman would most likley be expelled from today's Democratic Party for have far Right ideals.'

Please no. Apparently Lamont's ego knows no bounds. Since he could buy his way into the Senate he'll try to buy his way into the governor's mansion. The only ones who should be shaking in their boots are the citizen's of CT if he actually runs and wins.
