Sour grapes is the norm for liberals who are unwilling to do what the voters wish, Connie James, Pay to Play, and Former Sheltonite. The will of the voters is played out on election day, and the Citizen's United and Democrat parties refuse to put up viable candidates. Wake up, and smell the coffee! If you don't like how Shelton is moving forward, no one is making you all stay here! The majority of current Sheltonites obviously like low taxes and small government. Maybe you all are expecting to expand government, but that is not the will of the people!

I spent 40 years in Shelton and left CT 2 yrs ago and headed south because CT overall is too expensive. I went to school with Chris and he is a good person that has the best interests of Shelton at heart. Lauretti is a scammer and anyone who deals with Jimmy Botti is just a plain old MORON! I'm sorry to see my hometown go right down the proverbial crapper. Best of luck to those lifers who choose to remain.

What is wrong with Voters in Shelton? As a life long resident I just can not figure out what people see in this man. You can let a five year old run this town and still have low taxes and a great city. The Mayor will go down hard and voters take a look at who will take his place and know that you made a very very bad choice for our town. The people of this town make it great not Mark Lauretti. How can you look at the evidence and turn a blind eye to what is going on WOW open your eyes.

Let me be the first to say that the re-election of Mark Lauretti will be a thorn for the GREAT City of Shelton!! The current Botti trial does not involve the bribery of public officials. A separate trial will be held in 2010 to deal with the bribery of City officials. Mark my words, Mark Lauretti, Public Official #1/Public Enemy #1 will be mentioned and indicted in Round #2! Jim, Mark and others enjoy your freedom your empire is going to tumble!!
