Dodd says $100M in reconciliation bill

Hartford, Conn. (WTNH) – Senator Chris Dodd said today that the $100 million grant proposal that Governor Jodi Rell is depending on for her new UConn Medical Center proposal is still contained in the massive health care proposal expected to be voted upon by the U.S. House of Representatives this weekend.
Unlike the so called “Nebraska Compromise,” the $100 million grant is not state specific, so it remains in the bill.
Dodd says as many as 12 to 15 states could potentially qualify for the federal grant so it would be no ’shoe in’ for Connecticut, but with hard work it could come here for the Farmington medical center.

I see no benefit in getting 100 million if it is because you have whored out my Constitutional rights. Give back the 100 million, vote NO, and give me back my Constitution!!!
