I agree we don't need Ned "BUGEYES" Lamont as our Governor.

Personally I think Malloy or Glassman will beat him in a primary.

Lamont.....GO HOME!!!! AND GO AWAY !!!

I hope this state wakes up. Lamont is not the right choice neither is Malloy. I haven't voted Republican in over 20 years. I may just start now!!!

"socialism will come to the shores of connecticut god willing."

Um, thats rich. He's an uber-wealthy capitalist from Greenwich. I guess his wealth and earning power makes him a socialist just like Linda?

Yup, another wingnut that doesn't get it, and never will. CT does NOT have a revenue problem, it has a spending and borrowing addiction. Does anyone know what if anything Ned drinks? I'd like to try some the next time I'm feeling too smart.

All we need is the left wingers to have complete control of our state. Caulifornia should be a good example to keep the left from the purse strings. Unfortunately the Connecticut media will push hard for the left wingers and I have faith the Connecticut voters will not listen. The real problem will be voter fraud and ballot stuffing from organizations like ACORN and its affiliates. Connecticut has chosen not to interfere with ACORN activities..

Connecticuts democratic legislature has been in control for years and has turned us into the next California (bankrupted and losing legal population by the thousands). If he gets elected Lamont will really put us over the top, you can put a fork in this state then without a republican in charge to keep the spenders at bay.

"If he gets elected Lamont will really put us over the top."

Just like Jodi "I'll let the budget pass w/o my signature" Rell? If she had a spine she would have shut down state government until proper budget cuts were initiated. Rather, she just "let the budge pass" and then attempted to use the situation for political gain.

So, if you all think a republican would be more effective thats fine. But it better not be someone like Jodi Rell who is more interested in the "sugar coated" side of being a governor and not willing to make difficult decisions.

Furthermore, the state of Connecticut cannot legally go over budget, so what is the concern? I agree, the state spends too much, but maybe you can blame that on Lowell Wieker who pushed for an income tax which gave the legislature an excuse for not managing state funds properly.

First of all, Todd, Jodi is a RINO - no real Republican could ever get elected in good ole' Blue CT. She's a lib in a conservative red suit...

Secondly, Lamont is nothing but a limousine liberal - he wants to save the little people, but he also wants someone else - mainly the middle class - to pay for it.

What's next for this state - a resurgence of the bubonic plague? Cause that's about all that's left that could be worse than this clown...

You gotta admit the guy is a riot to listen to! I switched parties in the Senate primary to vote for him in 2006. Figured if he won the primary the Republicans could have a shot at winning the Senate seat. Almost worked too!
I might do it again this next year. Add my support to Lamont again to win the primary so the Republicans can beat the @#$* out of him in the election

Glad to see Todd knows what he is talking about. We need a governor like Mr. Lamont. He will recover our state from the shambles left by the neocons. Can't wait to vote for him for governor and hopefully someday for President! You have my vote Mr. Lamont!
