DeLauro: recall Lieberman
By ConnPolitics.tv Editor on Dec 15, 2009 | In News, Sen. Joe Lieberman (I), Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-3rd) | 54 feedbacks »
(WTNH) – 3rd District Rep. Rosa DeLauro doesn’t think much of her legislative colleague Sen. Joseph Lieberman these days. So much so she’d like him recalled from office.
“No individual should hold health care hostage, including Joe Lieberman, and I’ll say it flat out, I think he ought to be recalled,” Rep. DeLauro told the web site Politico.
However, there is no such recall law in Connecticut.

HOLD YOUR GROUND JOE !!
"Dump Dodd"
Bringing younger, healthier people into Medicare would save money, not add to the deficit.
Flip Flip Joe was for Medicare for younger when he was running for Vice President. Now he's running for the Board of Aetna.
Recall Joe??? Don't think so...Counting the days to the 2010 elections when we can vote you and your buddy Dodd out.
Did you ever have an independent thought between your ears or one that put the taxpayers in CT ahead of the Democrat Party and its left wing?
Not that i can recall....
Don't let him steal my thunder... I'm the one who was commenting about snide and condescending comments made by the liberal posters here that don't like it when those of us who are less liberal than they reply in kind.....
Howard Dean says "Kill the Bill".
Joe listen to Mr. Dean.
Anyone who votes for this bill is committing political suicide. Lastest polls show about 35% for this bill.
Good luck in 2010 democrats! You'll need it!
1. YOU were there on the Lilly Ledbedder Law - when Barak was breaking his promise of a 5 day public review of legislation
2. Have you read the healthcare bill????????? I wrote to you about other laws and it was obvious by your answer I had more of a clue than you (Cap & Trade)
I am not sure of Lieberman's motives but I am glad he is holding up this bill. I just hope he doesn't back down because the immorals ones, Reid & Pelosi are already talking about giving Lieberman whatever he wants for his vote. Nevermond doing what is best for the country....with a 12 trillion debt how can we sustain trillions more?????? Hang tough, Joe!!!!
I voted against her 10 times running. 2010 will make it 11.
She's been in office since 1991. How about a change?
Only thing she's got going for her is her great Halloween mask she wears all the time. SCARY!
Filthy lying hypocrites.
Thats amazing because, if he was biased, he would not let everyone who posts here - as you all appear to be conservative - post at all.
"He represents all the people not just the democrats like yourself."
He represents moderate Republicans.
"Wow, Rosa has a lot of nerve. I would like to see her go. She has always said she is an advocate for the elderly. No way...just an advocate for herself."
They are all advocates for themselves. However, Joe makes it apparent as he switches sides based on what will keep him in office. What happened to republicans supporting the Bush doctrine of "stay the course, no matter what"? If you truly supported this you would all be angry at Joe for flip-flopping.
"Shame Rosa's mother didn't support abortion the way she does."
Thats sickening and you should be ashamed of yourself.
Filthy lying hypocrites."
Same thing that happened to Bush, the "compassionate conservative" who endorsed torture, writing bigotry into the constitution, and supported placing people in prison camps in Cuba...
Thats sickening and you should be ashamed of yourself.
Why? Rosa isn't!
Vote this scumbag out in 2010 !
Yes, that is the new Republican "rallying call". Everyone who doesn't agree with their backwards ideologies is a "Communist" and anyone who is progressive hates America.
Visitor 2, I'm sure you believe the following:
1. Women shouldn't vote.
2. Women should be "barefoot and pregnant."
3. There was no need for a civil rights movement.
4. The telephone, TV and computers have destroyed the American family.
Etc.
Let me remind you of one thing. Jesus was a progressive. Jesus' strongest challenges were reserved for the highest and mightiest conservatives, the Pharisees (who idolized their own piety), the wealthy (who idolized possessions), the Roman rulers (who idolized political power), and the moneychangers (who idolized profit). If he were alive today, he would be taunted and rejected by our conservatives as a wager of class warfare, as anti-business, as anti-patriotic, as anti-Christian (er, um, anti-religious). Furthermore he associated with Lepers, Tax Collectors, and "whores".
So, before you label anyone who is progressive a "communist" think about what Jesus did - as you are politically conservative I trust that you are a christian conservative as well - and therefore know the bible.
Bye, Tough Guys!
Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution, 1833
It seemed to me that the tea party people were upset about out of control spending. Why is being a fiscal conservative "stupid"?
A bloody moron who has not the first grasp of the Constitution of the United States.
The problem is that it takes morons to elect her.
This state is Democrat because there are now more people here who are dependent than there are people who work.
Democrats one day will have to understand that sooner or later you run out of other peoples' money.
Yes, again you don't seem to understand that the republicans of 1833 have become the democrats of today. Essentially there was a "flipping" of the two parties in the late 19th - early 20th centuries.
So, thanks for the compliment.
That is a huge pile of bunk and you know it.
Wow, KFC, I bet she really turns you on then. I didn't know your husband was a butch lesbian. Its great that you support gay marriage by marrying your life long female partner. Congrats! When should I send you my wedding gift of Indigo Girls concert tickets, a Subaru Outback, flannel shirts and mens jeans =)
