isnt it funny how Joe Lieberman, who really is the only one acting in a non-partisan way and actually looking at the issues as opposed to just voting the way the other sheep are, is getting so much grief. Keep up the good work Joe. Dont let the Dems fool everyone.

I'm with you, Rosa. He's not Democrat. Whoever thinks he speaks for the majority of Connecticut citizens has not looked at the Quinnipiac poles. We want Medicare for all, not just for those over 55.
Bringing younger, healthier people into Medicare would save money, not add to the deficit.
Flip Flip Joe was for Medicare for younger when he was running for Vice President. Now he's running for the Board of Aetna.

All Lieberman has done is try and keep himself in politics. When he didn't get the democratic vote he needed he turned on his heels and went independant...for his interests only. Obama was the one who said no to penalizing him. And this is what we get. Have you people seen how much these health care companies gouge private business... $3,000 a month for family insurance, $800 for a single person, $2200 for emp+1 and they give you no information when you ask them to support their 30 to 50% annual rate increases. We need competition or at the very least accountability. Maybe the average Joe could actually retire at a halfway decent age and have insurance instead of getting stuck with $800 a month on COBRA. Otherwise we'll all be working till we drop dead. And Lieberman doesn't care, all his benefits are paid for.

"I am astonished at how biased the blog masters are to support the left wing Democrats."

Thats amazing because, if he was biased, he would not let everyone who posts here - as you all appear to be conservative - post at all.

"He represents all the people not just the democrats like yourself."

He represents moderate Republicans.

"Wow, Rosa has a lot of nerve. I would like to see her go. She has always said she is an advocate for the elderly. No way...just an advocate for herself."

They are all advocates for themselves. However, Joe makes it apparent as he switches sides based on what will keep him in office. What happened to republicans supporting the Bush doctrine of "stay the course, no matter what"? If you truly supported this you would all be angry at Joe for flip-flopping.

"Shame Rosa's mother didn't support abortion the way she does."

"Rosa is a progressive and a communist. "

Yes, that is the new Republican "rallying call". Everyone who doesn't agree with their backwards ideologies is a "Communist" and anyone who is progressive hates America.

Visitor 2, I'm sure you believe the following:
1. Women shouldn't vote.
2. Women should be "barefoot and pregnant."
3. There was no need for a civil rights movement.
4. The telephone, TV and computers have destroyed the American family.

Etc.

Let me remind you of one thing. Jesus was a progressive. Jesus' strongest challenges were reserved for the highest and mightiest conservatives, the Pharisees (who idolized their own piety), the wealthy (who idolized possessions), the Roman rulers (who idolized political power), and the moneychangers (who idolized profit). If he were alive today, he would be taunted and rejected by our conservatives as a wager of class warfare, as anti-business, as anti-patriotic, as anti-Christian (er, um, anti-religious). Furthermore he associated with Lepers, Tax Collectors, and "whores".

So, before you label anyone who is progressive a "communist" think about what Jesus did - as you are politically conservative I trust that you are a christian conservative as well - and therefore know the bible.

Wow, now Rosa wants to control other elected officials as well? I don't necessarily agree with Lieberman on all of the issues but I respect Democracy and the American political system. I suppose she forgot Liberman was elected by the people of Connecticut and that this is how the voting process works. Lieberman is allowed to vote as he pleases, afterall he is an Independent on paper, and no longer has to follow the partisan path of the party bosses. Maybe Rosa should refresh her memory on this and/or take some time away from DC where even the best of politicians eventually become corrupted or lose their way. I can't help but notice her rhetoric is increasingly Mafiosa and Fascist between healthcare, union organizing, abortion, and now trying to supercede the legal office of a sitting Connecticut Senator. She really gives us Italians and Roman Catholics a bad name. No wonder people elsewhere in the country hate and stereotype us.
