That means that the rest stops must overcharge by a certain amount as to give the state its "share" - ummmm... I thought that taxes (sales) was the State's share.... how un Amerikan of me.

The State is going to get money from the contractor. If the State ran the rest areas I am sure they would operate in the red like everything else this State runs.

again, the poor bastard that stops there to get food gets screwed royally......

smart people will begin to pull OFF the damn highways for fuel & food...........there are MORE than enough places right off the ramps.....
