Most of these can only be sold to the abutter (neighbor) Sounds like the state is going for extortion. We (the state), by the way who owns the state? The taxpayers, should GIVE these properties to the abutters.

Cut spending and lower property tax. That is a better plan. Of course many of the government moochers would have to be more self reliant if that were to happen.

Most of these properties have been on the state's books for years. Typically, the governor and legislature,pick the time they are at their lowest value, to sell them. That, ladies and gentlemen, is the reason Connecticut is so far in debt. Poor leadership.

If JODI would get rid of all the idiots up in Hartford; Congressmen, attorneys, representatives and such that we are paying their salaries AND HEALTH CARE BENEFITS, we could save alot of money that way. But, no; they have all these meetings in the capital building with dopes playing solitaire and sleeping. Who are all those people in there anyway? We should have 2 senators, 2 congressmen, 6 representatives and the governor (although we could do without her)!!! Comments?
