CUT THE BUDGET WHEN WE DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY TO BEGIN WITH?!?! What a novel and logical idea.

But what's that I hear? Liberals, unions and democrats demanding that someone else foot the bill.....what a surprise.

Cut the number of state employees by one third !!!!!!

I'd like to see what they propose to cut before jumping to any conclusions.

"" It remains unclear if the legislature will take any action that day. ""

NOBODY should hold their breath.......LOL

I have news for some of these political screw balls..a f''cking 1/2 a % in the sales tax drop isnt going to open the damn flood gates for people buyin..leave the tax alone..."you" / "we" need that money...........

what "we" dont need is a property tax increase OR a supplimental property tax bill..."I" have already made a decision to NOT pay the increase I got in the mail last Sat from my town...I WILL pay EXACTLY what I paid last year and NO MORE.....more of you damn people out there need to do this if you got property tax increases this year to pay for this stupid mess we are now in.....I have personally cut all I can cut from my own personal spending...I am doing WITHOUT quite a few things that I USE to have just 2 years ago....enough is enough.....and I have NEVER lived " lavishly " this state government DOES..........

The most rational way to fix our budget is to succeed from the Union. The strings the Feds have and will put on states for TARP, health care and unfunded mandates are going to drive us into a much large debt and/or tax increases. Many governors have complained or rejected many of the Fed mandates, but Connecticut for some reason is unwilling to do that.
The Connecticut media refuses to inform us of these issues and prefer to treat us like mushrooms that live in the dark and feed on B--l S--t.
