Gov. wants lawmakers to fix campaign law

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) – Gov. M. Jodi Rell wants legislators to return to the Capitol to fix the state’s campaign finance reform law and attempt to close Connecticut’s budget gap.
Rell says her proposed changes could help satisfy a federal judge, who struck down the campaign finance law as unconstitutional.
She says they would also provide certainty to candidates who are already campaigning and raising matching funds to participate in the public funding system.
But it’s questionable whether the General Assembly, controlled by Democrats, will take up Rell’s proposed fixes on Dec. 15, the date of the special session. There’s still no agreement on what steps, if any, lawmakers should take.
Sen. Gayle Slossberg says lawmakers will likely need more than two weeks to decide on the right fix for a complex problem.

So what say you Channel 8?
I also read Palin's book and found it a great read and worth the investment. She is defiantly one of us....... She cleaned up the Republicans and Democrats in Alaska and accomplished more in 2.5 years as Governor than most have done in 8 years. It is no wonder she had an 80% approval during her stay which dropped to 56% after the media did their slime machine against her during and after her VP campaign.
She would have my vote any day....
Now, with Palin, what a good candidate. She can't help her candidate win the Presidency, she leaves her job while in office, and 'writes' a book that is smaller than most pamphlets at the DMV.
I have read her book, that is why I chose to make these remarks. A friend of mine, who happens to be a Conservative Republican in the vain of Ron Paul, lent me it and I was able to finish it within a two hour span. Her books offers no solutions on how to fix major issues, offers vague explanations for her actions and lacks any depth, merely resorting to name calling.
'She did it for very selfless reasons. She actually did it for the good of Alaska. Reminds me of how selfless George Washington was.'
She did it for the good of Sarah Palin. She is a politician, and to deny that, is well to know that you've been duped.
I never read the book, yet its on my desk at home, next to my computer. Interesting, especially seeing as the bookmark is on the last page. Your inability to articulate answers, properly phrase responses and in any logical sense support your findings, is a comedy on the epic scale of Fletch.
'At least you could dignify yourself by reading her book and comment on it in a rational and substantive manner.'
Please explain how I haven't, especially when I've read the book.
'Your trolling manner makes you look foolish.'
And the lack of knowledge you posses of government, politics, society and logic make you look foolish.
