Hartford (AP) – Connecticut’s healthcare advocate Kevin Lembo says he has filed paperwork to explore a possible bid for lieutenant governor.
The 46-year-old Democrat on Tuesday became the first candidate to announce a potential run for the state’s second top job in 2010.
Lembo says he believes the potential of the office should not be wasted on ceremonial duties.
Lembo was appointed in 2004 as the state’s first healthcare advocate. His small, independent state agency helps consumers with health insurance difficulties, including appealing company denials.
Lembo is a former assistant state comptroller, where he focused on state budget issues, health care and health insurance for state employees and retirees, nonprofits and small businesses.

Stay away from those like John Mcshame, Lindsey Graham, A. Snowe......etc.
The best approach is to vote conservative......
