Washington, D.C. (WTNH) – Senator Chris Dodd (D-CT) issued the following statement today welcoming Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to the United States. Singh’s visit is the first official state visit of the Obama presidency.
“India has long been a true friend and ally of the United States,” said Sen. Dodd. “Given the wide variety of economic and geopolitical issues that America has partnered with India on, it is no surprise that President Obama selected India for the first official state visit of his presidency. I am proud to welcome Prime Minister Singh to the United States and look forward to continuing the strong relationship that America and India have long enjoyed.”
As a co-chair of the Senate U.S.-India Caucus, Sen. Dodd has been a strong supporter of strengthening America’s strategic and diplomatic ties with India. On Saturday, the Senate unanimously passed a resolution introduced by Sen. Dodd honoring Prime Minister Singh and welcoming him to the United States.

Vote these liberal - progressive - facist scumbags out in 2010 & 2012 !
It is the one of the best books I have read in a long time.
"Dump Dodd"
It is the one of the best books I have read in a long time. "
Palin reminds me of Reagan in terms of values, patriotism and love of this great country.
She can't be bought by big biz/oil. She will do what is right for our country.
I hope she will seek a future in politics since she is gifted toward it.
She has my vote for president in 2012 !
Actually, her low IQ is scaring many of us. As well as the support she has from rotten scum like yourself.
Again, you and Visitor2 prove your self to be nasty conservative "christian" bastards.
BTW... "dillweeds" is not a word.
"She has my vote for president in 2012 !"
You are the moron I always believed you to be.
100% for censorship? Huh? BTW, happy holidays Mr. Smiles =)
You're anger shows you to be a complete sociopath...
Todd's anger outdoes anyone else's here for sure. I don't know how you can judge others and then call George the rotten name you did. What the "H" is wrong with you?
LOL
If THAT is the best the worthless party can come up with....LOL
-- She supports more drilling in protected areas of the Outer Continental Shelf and the Alaska Natural Wildlife Refuge, once attacking McCain for his “close-mindedness on ANWR.”
Palin rejects clean renewable energy that is an alternative to oil. She claimed that “alternative-energy solutions are far from imminent and would require more than 10 years to develop.”
Her husband Todd works for the British oil company BP as an oil-field production operator and owns a commercial fishing business.
Big business was granted wide access to Sarah Palin's office during her first 20 months as Alaska governor, but she rarely met with labor, environmental or other groups pressing alternative views, her official calendar shows.
On at least three dozen occasions, Palin, now the Republican vice presidential nominee, spoke with executives and lobbyists working for an array of energy, mining and tourism firms with major investments in Alaska.
"We have not had problems with access to Gov. Palin or her key department people," said Ashley Reed, a lobbyist who was on a team of natural-gas officials who met with Palin in April 2007. Reed was working with Enstar, a gas firm seeking approval for a natural-gas "bullet" pipeline.
As far as the church of renewable energy goes - it's great for peak shaving, BUT it really can not carry a base load. Also our infrastructure is geared towrds urban areas, so..... we'd need a serious overhaul of the grid for some of these "solar farms" which may compete with food farms.....
anonymous : "...Chris Dodd into retirement and end his a** kissing with the banks, Wall Street, The Credit Card Companys and The Insurance Compan"
"....Get the moving truck to stepping your raggedy a** is heading back to East Haddam oryou can move to Iowa for good. "
"..And then finally maybe some of these d-bag liberal scumbag bloggers here and at the other lovefest supported by Channel 8"
Thats right Jaine, because none of what Anonymous posts is "nasty or angry"
Let me further refresh your memory with some of the nice things he has said...
"...caring the s**t out of the Democrats and especially Obama and the liberal dillweeds who post here."
"(I left the Dem Party in December 2006 when the pablum pukers and anti war protestors took over)"
I don't know how you can judge others and then call George the rotten name you did.
Thats nice, Janie... maybe you could have defended me when "Sue" called me a faggot and a deviant. Although I assume you NEVER would do that.
And, please do me the favor of explaining how Anonymous is not angry, nasty, etc...
I know you'll be out there feeding (stepping on and insulting) the poor with the rest of your KIND friends here...
I take it, you don't read many books? To paraphrase the finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm, 'I called his book a pamphlet.'
'Palin reminds me of Reagan in terms of values, patriotism and love of this great country.'
And her unwavering belief in American exceptionalism.
'She can't be bought by big biz/oil. She will do what is right for our country.'
Other than that $2,402,437 that went to her and McCain's campaign for President from the oil and gas lobby.
Secondly - I don't have a bible and I would be out there donating and helping others if #1 I had the money and #2 I could get around. I am rather homebound - not by choice.
You have a nice Thanksgiving too!
Please show me how I've done this, making comparisons to others who espouse their own viewpoints, but fail to back it up with evidence.
Thanks. I await your thoroughly researched response.
With answers like that, it is quite obvious why you're unable to support anything you state.
