Caligiuri switches races

Hartford (AP) – Republican U.S. Senate candidate Sam Caligiuri says he’s switching races and plans to challenge 5th District Rep. Chris Murphy instead of Connecticut Sen. Chris Dodd in 2010.
Caligiuri, a state senator from Waterbury, says he’s withdrawing from the Senate race because there are other Republican candidates who are in a better position to defeat Dodd.
Chris Healy, chairman of the Connecticut Republicans, had asked Caligiuri to consider switching races, saying he’d be a top candidate in the race.
Caligiuri says many people have urged him to run for Congress or governor. The former acting mayor of Waterbury says he can best serve the state as a member of Congress. He says Murphy is out of touch with the district.
A message seeking Murphy’s comment was not immediately returned.

"Dump Dodd"
You do realize that more than Centrist Democrats voted for Dodd, right?
'The Democratic Party are a bunch of lawbreakers and consist of liberal dirtbags.'
They do consist, like the Republican party and most organized parties, with lawbreakers. If we were to have all politicians who break the law resign, we would have no government, and the world would be a happy place.
Under the bill Murphy voted for a family of making $175,000 will have to pay about $35,000 a year for their health care.
Murphy will still pay about $6,000 for his. So will Dodd.
Murphy is screwing you over big time.
This health care bill will kill off the remaining insurance industry in this state along with its jobs. But Murphy does not represent Connecticut.
He represents Nancy Pelosi.
Murphy and Dodd are poison to Connecticut.
You must understand. The Democratic health care bills mean you will get much less in care and it will cost you much more. You WILL wait for care in line behind illegal aliens.
'You WILL wait for care in line behind illegal aliens.'
And they'll have to stand in front of morons.
