STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) – The closest adviser to Gov. M. Jodi Rell says in a rare interview that it’s unfair to refer to Rell’s chief of staff as Connecticut’s shadow governor.
Lisa Moody tells The Advocate of Stamford that it’s her job as chief of staff to help Rell and give the governor all the information she needs, but Rell is the decision-maker who is firmly in control of state government.
Moody has been Rell’s closest adviser since Rell’s first run for the state Senate.
Many observers say Moody has a strong role in running Rell’s administration and that her strength extends to her interpersonal style, which has been described as abrasive and bullying.
But Moody says she’s been a a good chief of staff and women in power are often viewed differently than their male counterparts.

This coming from the true leader of the asylum.
Can you back up this baseless accusations? I'll be waiting, for what seems like a very long time. I do not doubt that Palin may have assisted a portion of Alaskans, but that does not qualify her to become President.
“She did not feel comfortable speaking about issues regarding Hispanics and Latin America,” GOP consultant Ana Navarro told Univision anchor Jorge Ramos in an interview. “Those are not topics that come up frequently in Alaska. So she asked to cancel the interview and, unfortunately, you were already there.”
