COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) – South Carolina lawmakers say they’ll formally consider the possible impeachment of Gov. Mark Sanford for the first time next week.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Harrison tells The Associated Press he will gather a seven-member panel Tuesday to discuss whether to begin proceedings that ultimately could remove the Republican governor.
Harrison says the panel will begin talking about whether Sanford was neglectful when he left the state for five days in June without telling staff where he was going. When he returned, the governor confessed he had been in Argentina to see his lover.
Harrison says he plans to send an impeachment resolution to the full Judiciary Committee by Christmas.

I am sure his wife is in constant consideration.
That is a memory that acts like a gorrila on the back, when the garbage isn`t taken out.
The bills are comeing in,and the job is in jeapordy.
Our the children want to go Christmass shopping for Daddy.
Among a million other things.
Forgivness is so she can feel better.
Trust has been turned to dust.
It is like looking at someone and feeling sorry for them that they never knew if they had done something like that, that it would blow a marrige out of the water,or feel like an asteriod fell on your head.
And no other woman on the planet would trust the runaround.
Thinking about going to Argentina and actually going to Argentina are two sides of the spectrum.
We can`t help our thought, they are like birds stopping on a tree and flying away.
But acting on the thoughts are like seeing a bird land on your tree and building a nest so it can stay and lay eggs, then some hawk comes along and scrambles the eggs and it is just one big mess.
The man obviously has no disipling at home so what make everyone think he has disapline as Governor.
If this marrige and job will work he needs to be ankle bracleted and his where abouts known at all times, and not trusted until he himself realizes that forgivness is not a licence to be a repeat offender.
