Initial health care vote on Saturday

Washington (AP) – The Senate will hold its first vote on health care legislation on Saturday night and Democrats will need 60 votes to prevail.
Majority Leader Harry Reid announced the schedule on the Senate floor, one day after unveiling a nearly $1 trillion bill to expand health coverage.
Republicans have vowed to block passage of the measure, and Democrats must put up 60 votes to clear the way for a lengthy debate next month.

Well we will be represented by Senator Dodd of Iowa Fame & also of Countrywide fame. So we have no chance there. The senators & congressman have thier own plan..lol So do they care about us ? I don't think so. Obamacare is about control socalizing this country. We need to dump people in 2010 lets keep our eyes on who votes for the bill.

I am a 1 man small business owner. I just received my renewal bill from
Connecticare for Jan 2010. They want me to pay for my family of 3 $500.00 a week for medical insurance. My businessis off 40% from last year. I can't pay all my bills and buy food now. I will become another statistic without insurance. Now the government wants to give insurance to the poor but if you work or have a small business they want to tax me because I have insurance. America! This was contrived by the Hospitals and Insurance companies who pay for people without insurance now. To improve their bottom line. Now the hospitals will be paid by the taxpayers.

Its about controlling the insurance companies that have been ripping you off for years.

Actually, the hospitals will suffer under this bill as well. Please become informed before you blame the Hospitals, who hand out free care and get screwed by insurance companies as well, as those to blame.
Hospitals are already paid pennies on the dollar (thanks to Bush) by the tax payer in the form of medicare and medicaid.
Please become more informed about what is going on in the hospitals before you comment.

The govt will collect all the taxes and fees from this bill for 2009-10-11-12-13 and the changes kick in on 2013-14. This is all smoke and mirrors to make the dems look good with the deficit of trillions of dollars. This is their plan to look good for the 2010 and 2012 elections.

If you thing Dudd or Bush or any of our elected officials actually "run" something you are dead wrong. So the question is... do you want BUREAUCRATS in DC running OUR healthcare system? Absolutely not! I've asked this question many times and never seem to get an answer... Name something the government runs well?
