This poor excuse for an administration, needs to direct the attention to something else to take the focus off it's poor weak performance.

He spent 3 trillion in a year and tells agencies they need to watch how much coffee and paperclips they are buying!

"Watch their spending" Is he kidding?
Can Niagra Falls tell people not to let their faucets drip?

This is a LOL moment for sure!

Isn't this the same guy who ordered his cabinet staff to cut their budgets and nothing came of it. Blowing more sunshine up the collective american backsides.

Is he for real? This is a political move, obviously, and just more words from a really good speechmaker!

Isn't this what all you bitter angry conservatives wanted? Someone to reign in spending? You all should be happy... for once.

Once more, this is more than Bush ever did... he kept spending and spending...

And hopefully he will pull the army out of the middle east. Its a colossal waste of money!

Better we curtail foreign spending for a while, like forever, most of the countries we send aid to hate us anyway...

Yeah, it should be done, but it probably won't be. This is just a political smoke screen.

I agree with cutting spending for foreign aide first. Then new spending should be stopped for any new government entitlement programs.

Hold, steady as she goes.
We don`t need any more upheavals just yet.
We are in this for the long haul.
It dosn`t seem all the data is in,and was never in so this didn`t escalate.
It would be nice if Barack wanted to be remembered as the President that actually did something for the planet and the folk on the planet instead of a goofball.
Look how many ran for President just looking at the last sponge bob sqauare pants President everyone wanted to run,but nothing got done except we went deeper into debt.
We are in the quick sand,so mabe
the President can go off for a walk by himself for a day take notes and come up with a solution for the issues at hand.

Obama is still better than the war criminal who just left office. This economy was in a shambles when Bush left, don't forget. It took a while to get in this mess, it won't be fixed overnite.

Not only does Obama want to freeze domestic spending, he wants to stop any Congressional investigation into the Ft. Hood terror attack.

Now Obama is bowing to foreign emperors. I never saw or heard MacArthur bowing to Japan's emperor- of course MacArthur was most likely a right winger and stood for American traditions. Since Obama is bowing to emperors and Arab Kings, I wonder why he never bowed to Queen Elizabeth. Oh well, it must not have been in his teleprompter while in Japan.

If there are any cuts, it will be military and border patrol first. The rest will simply be shifted to the states.

Just think: Obama is going to cut the deficit from $2 trillion to $1.9 trillion.

Bet your life that taxes are going up.
