Washington (AP) – Connecticut Sen. Joseph Lieberman says while he’s “strongly inclined” to vote to move Sen. Harry Reid’s health care plan to the Senate floor for debate, he would ultimately oppose the measure because it includes a public option.
Lieberman said Tuesday in a telephone interview with The Associated Press that he’s worried a public option would be costly to taxpayers and drive up insurance premiums.
An independent who caucuses with Democrats, Lieberman is among a group of about a dozen moderate senators whose support Reid will need as Senate critical health care votes near.
Lieberman said he’s open to the possibility of supporting a plan set up and run by the states. Lieberman said he is “open to discussing that.”

If you disagree, show me some verifiable facts to the contrary.
Once on the floor the radicals get it there will be little or no debate.
They have to make cuts, not spend.
We the people allow them to decide while we are asleep and they do it and there is nothing we can do but fight it and wind up behind bars or in debt.

Single-payer now!
Medicare for all!
Now medicare is running out of money and Lieberman rightly says that fixing it, is the first priority before adding another financial burden. After all Obama's deficit for this year alone, nearly exceeds the previous 8 years under Bush.
Anybody see that piece on 60 minutes Sunday about Medicare????
NOTHING about fraud is being addressed....NOTHING.....
This is why ANYTHING that government has their dirty paws in wont work........
SSI, Medicare, Medicade..... are ALL riddled with fraud......
THATS a good part of why they are failing...JUST as this pathetic version of government healthcare will..........
