Palin implicated in ethics probe

Anchorage, Alaska (AP) – An independent investigator has found evidence that Gov. Sarah Palin may have violated ethics laws by accepting private donations to pay her legal debts.
The report obtained by The Associated Press says Palin is securing unwarranted benefits and receiving improper gifts through the Alaska Fund Trust, set up by supporters.
An investigator for the state Personnel Board says in his July 14 report that there is probable cause to believe Palin used or attempted to use her official position for personal gain because she authorized the creation of the trust as the “official” legal defense fund.
The fund aims to help Palin pay off debts stemming from multiple ethics complaints against her, most of which have been dismissed. Palin says she owes more than $500,000 in legal fees.
A call seeking comment from her lawyer was not immediately returned.

GO SARAH!
Look at friggin Clinton and all his pathetic legal fees and the beggin that went on for "donors" to help his a$$ out.......
F''ck em all.......
let em pay for thier own mess's.........
She dosen't need a teleprompter either. LOL - She can speak circles around Obama.
The liberal media (democrats) is smearing her all they can but it's not going to work.
The American people know she is the real deal and she will look out for our best interest - Not big oil/biz.
we need new leadership "outside" the box......these 2 party's are totaly worthless & disfunctional......
Those outlets must be really concerned about her popularity that soon could surpass Obama.
If you think Palin is smart, then you're a few eggs short of a dozen.
they're scrambled!!!!!
the GOP thing now is to attack anything on Obama to make themselves look good, it's sad.
what a bunch of psychotic whiners above, no tangible arguments or facts as usual
I have a theory, as things have unfolded since Palin resigned, I am wondering if she resigned because more and more illegal activity on her part will be coming out, perhaps she knows she is under investigation about something that the autorities have not charged her with YET,
so her legal advisors suggested she resign now to try and make it look like she was not fully involved
there is certainly more to this than meets the eye because Palin does not strike me as the type of person that would just walk away from a position of power
and her story about leaving does not make sense and is out of character for her
I'd say by fall more will come to light.
I see the raving genius is at it again. Of course, someone with a sub-par IQ, would find
Palin as someone with brains.
Palin doesn't possess the capabilities to run a lemonade stand.....
In my opinion its about time this woman was implicated in an ethics probe. However, if we were to investigate everyone in government we would have thousands of investigations ongoing. Maybe thats a way to put more people back to work. Investigate all the trash in Washington.
And, for all who question why anyone would support Palin as president remember this...
The people who support Palin also supported Bush.
All I can determine from Palin's own comments is that she did not look very informed when she was interviewed on TV,she sounded like someone who had very little information about current problems. I think we should wait until the authorities investigate the charges.
In 2008 Sarah was the ONLY person who has executive experience, all the others were senators...
Palin 2012
Palin is this generation's Reagan.
She doesn't have the brains to run this country. I think that the Repubs should put Rush Windbag up for President next election. He thinks he knows everything and then he can be something other than a skeptic..he can actually use his big mouth to fix everything. I would vote for him just to give him the chance. So get real folks. Don't prop up another Dolt like Bush and screw us even deeper into the ground.
They WANT you tearing each other up over Sarah Palin or dead pedophile junkie "musicians", or any other distraction "dou jour"
that obamas lap dog state-run media can come up with.
How else do you explain a populace that sits idly by while the next 3 or 4 GENERATIONS are bought, sold and politically and economically enslaved?????
WAKE UP AND STAND UP AMERICA!!
Just an average working Joe and I intend to do whatever I can to elect one of our own.
I intend to follow the story closely, if she needs more money, I'll send it!

Ooh a hot 46%, she's almost at Obama's level!
Just because the price of gas is low does not mean all is well.
Unlike many liberals, Jesus Christ is my savior, NOT Obama, NOT Palin, and Sarah Palin has my vote for president.
You will get further by drinking a couple six packs for your 15 than by sending it to Palin's PAC.
How else do you explain a populace that sits idly by while GW allows our economy to destroy itself while he and mccain mutter "the economy is strong???
How else do you explain a populace that sits idly by while a moron rund for vp screaming about some a hole called joe the plumber who owes taxes and isn't even a licensed plumber???????

Left wingers and normal people with brains are SPASTIC about Palin, beause they CANNOT FING BELIEVE YOU IDIOTS WOULD ELECT ANOTHER IDIOT
