Everybody , no matter what friggin race, gender, sexual preference or what friggin ever has or I should say SHOULD have a equal shot at someting, whether education, job etc.........has it ever been that way......NOPE.......and it will NEVER be with the mindset of most people out there......we dont live in that kind of world.............and all these silly "hurdles" put in the way isnt helping.......

kids shouldnt be bused 20 or 30 miles just because there are more one color than another in a certain town or city....if the kids cant get a good education....look at the REAL problem......LOUSY education system.......education standards should be the same....ANYWHERE........ "standard curriculum" should be in all schools.......not little friggin social "experiments" that DONT educate.......IF you have a education system ALL working on the same page, it wouldnt matter if a school system has over 80% of a certain "color"........why the hell should that matter ??????

As far as hiring people, its f''cking simple..........the BEST candidate gets the job...period......... no "special tests" or any other BS................

Everybody has a level playing field? Is he that out of touch of what is going on in this country? Whites have been discriminated against. When was the last time the negro college fund gave a white person a scholorship. White funds are discrimatory and are not allowed. everyone has a level playing field. He does think American people are stupid.

Afirmitive Action is WRONG !

AA is code for Whites and Asians need not apply.

I had grandfather that was poudning spikes in a railrooad instead of going to school during the depress. then he got he GCT after many years. a lot of hard work and he put his kids to school.

if you want a better life then work for it. suffer for your children to get a better life if you can't it has to start at some generation.

By not treating everyone as equal then we will never be equal. If you provide affirmative action then how exactly does a person become better. You become better by working for what you get. By earning what you receive. that is why welfare will never make anybody better. It is human nature to wait to be given a dollar then to go work for 2 dollars. All these programs do is ensure that the disadvantaged stay that way.

It is ironic that we are now celebrating the 4th of July as the day of freedom while we have become defendant on the government rather than our selves. So now the 4th should be the day of dependency when we lost our freedoms.

It's very obvious Obama was not happy with the court overturning the outcome for the firefighters in New Haven. Obama definitely has a problem that probably goes back to his childhood and I believe Michelle feels the same way.

As a whitey I have been discriminated against. Did I qualify for financial aid? A daughter of a divorced mother of three? SAT scores of 1260, I couldn't even afford to apply to more than 3 schools (all state by the way).

Once I accidently checked the other box when soliciting information on schools and what a flood of information did I get!

End affirmative actions, quotas everything now! or should I say ahora?

As a liberal, I say Affirmative Action needs to end.

Now would be a good time.
