Hmm... wonder if old Dodd will be on the receiving end of this? I hope so...

Madoff just could'nt squeak by on the income he already had. How would you like it if you could'nt have yachts and mansions in Palm Springs? I would go nuts if I was not seen with all those phony socialite jerks that flock together like maggots. Why was'nt this pile of dung brought in to court in a prisoner jumpsuit? He was allowed to wear a three piece suit. No caviar or $100 a glass cognac in the joint Bernie boy.

I saw this comming in the late 80's, when the idea of "everyone can be a friggin RICH investor" was being shoved down everyones throats.......

We are paying the price now.....

The way this pig greedy world is set up............only a select few benefit.........

There is nothing wrong with investing, mind you, but it has to be done responsibly...NOT what is done on Wall St..........

"casino investing".............

like I said.....NOW we are paying the price.........

Wall Street became a casino as new "products" were being invented. Companies like Enron had NO real product or service, they were self proclaimed "brokers" who bought up whatever and resold whatever... basic bullies forcing a low price and rselling at a high price. All they really were was paper (contract) bullies!

Hopefully, these new laws will act as a deterrent. Somehow though, I think peoples greed and lack of moral character will produce more Bernie Madoff's.

Let the buyer beware!

This guy not only cheated people
he went way over board. I mean he was a complete hog. How much money does one person need?

I also want to add that as pointed in above arcticle there needs to be a way to nip this type of thing in the bud before it ends the way this did with people wiped out of all their money.

So very sad these poor people that lost their money.

Another perfectly stupid comment from the best of them...had we had proper regulation, perhaps the "convictions" would not have been need to begin with.....
