Obama is trying to revive his poll numbers. Notice he won't appear "live" and he's making sure he is out of town when the show is aired. The more he talks the less I believe a word he says.

I like Jay Leno but he is a TV celebrity and comic. I do not see anything funny in the state of the Country. The President should stay in Washington until at least the thieving AIG bonuses are taken care of. We do not need anymore Celebrities we need a LLEADER.

I agree with fed up. Instead of doing talk shows, stay at the White House and solve some of the problems he supposedly said he would during his campaign.

What is up with this President and his obvious lack of decorum for the office?

He obviously thinks of himself as a celebrity rather than a leader. And we are stuck with this bozo for almost 4 more years???

Or maybe a new Govt agency.

You say the whole "Save or Create" Blah blah blah blah...

People want to hear from the President, who btw, has an approval rating approximately three times that of his spectacularly incompetent predecessor.

Obama has, unlike Bush (who was allergic to even the stodgy old
press conference), decided to join the 21st Century and get his message out in a variety of formats.

That is all.

sickofthelibs - I think he really does consider himself a celebrity. The libs that made such a fuss over him during the campaign, including celebs, have made him believe he's one of them. He spends very little time in the WH -he has to be in front of his adoring fans.
KMRIA - your story is getting so old with all the Bush crap.

KMRIA...People want to hear from the Pres., but they would like to hear what the hell he is doing to better things.

Appearing on Leno, or any other talk show isn't doing anything for anyone except his own ego, which I might add is HUGE!

I kind of get sick of everyone thinking he is "cool", cause he goes to Facebook, Myspace etc. etc. He is suppose to be our Commander in Chief, not a Hollywood celeb. With the problems we are having, he needs to act like a Pres. and not a stupid teeny bopper.

Exactly JJ-these are the same morons that voted for him for the same reason.

Seriously-this president is not behaving very presidentially, he's certainly not leading, and it's like he's already in campaign mode and I'm being very generous, because I doubt he ever left campaign mode.

Janie...did you hear that he's going on another vacation and ditching the gridiron dinner, the first president since Cleveland to do so...why because his spoiled little darlings are starting spring break.

Anyone tell this president that it's a 24/7 job, not 9-5?

This is no surprise to me. The O Man thinks he's one of the Hollyweird elite and the idiots that voted for him think it's just fantastic that he's "out there" appearing on Jay Leno. God help us all. This is just the beginning of the end for hard working Americans. He is going to go down in the record books as the absolute worst President in our History.

KYMRIA,
You were apparently born yesterday.

"Bush’s overall job approval ratings also remain at unprecedented high levels. The Nov. 26-27 poll shows Bush with an 87% approval rating -- marking the eighth consecutive poll since Sept. 11 in which his job approval rating has been in the 85% to 90% range. "

rick - I stand corrected. All shows are taped. However, it does not change my opinion. Obama does not speak without his teleprompters - two of them they say. He can't seem to stay home - he's on the road again. Maybe that should be the Presidential song - "On the Road Again". We are no longer safe from any attacks and we can't even call a terrorist a terrorist. God help us. I
sickofthelibs - I did not hear about his vacation but it doesn't surprise me. Guess it doesn't make any difference because he doesn't seem to do much when he's home. His staff keeps the home fires burning. Maybe we are safer when he's out of town.

Janie - Per your comment about Obama feeling he is a "celeb" - Its nice to see that your "trucker mouth" is back. Such a high-class woman you are.

Are you aware that using fowl language only diminishes your arguments?

Oh Todd...can you please stop trying to be sanctimonius in your attack on Janie and actually add something to the topic instead?

This president, his administration and his first 50 something days have been an absolute disaster so far.

personally, I think he doesn't care if he gets re elected, he doesn't care what happens to the economy. The only thing this guy cares about is getting his radically left agenda rammed down our throats and he's going to continue to campaign instead of be a president.

You might start with taking your own advice. You and "Janie" run neck and neck for the vacuous rant award.
The tripe above is so old...so consistently absent of any worthwhile info.....
